Luiz Gustavo Madubuike

is from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Currently freelancer and Choreographer. He graduated from Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil, where he became a professional dancer in classical and contemporary dance. While at Bolshoi, he was highlighted as a soloist in the Russian Dance in The Nutcracker by Vladmir Vassiliev and in the Polovtsianian Dance in the opera Prince Igor. He studied with the Lamondance contemporary company in Vancouver, Canada, where he danced many principal roles, and performed with The Royal City Ballet Company in Vancouver as a soloist in The Nutcracker. In 2016, he continued his professional career in the United States with the Virginia National Ballet, where he danced for two years as a soloist. In 2018 he joined First State Ballet Theatre as company member and there he premiered “Red²”, his brand new creation.
