She then studied and graduated from Fordham University and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s combined BFA program in 2012. While studying at Fordham University, Fraser performed with Alvin Ailey II and with Visceral Dance Chicago following her college graduation through 2019. Paige Fraser is still active in the performing arts and is currently performing in the national tour of The Lion King.

She has performed works by world-renowned choreographers including Alvin Ailey, Judith Jamison, Kevin Iega Jeff, Gary Abbott, Nicole Clarke Springer, Donald Byrd, Sidra Bell, Benoit Swan Pouffer, Troy Powell and Nick Pupillo. A talented dancer, Fraser has been recognized with multiple awards and opportunities. She won the Princess Grace Award in Dance and was included in Dance Magazine’s “Top 25 to Watch”. She was also featured in INTEL’s global “Experience Amazing” campaign in 2015. Both an artist and a philanthropist, Fraser co-founded the Paige Fraser Foundation in 2017. The objective of the foundation is to foster the growth of young aspiring artists and to create a safe space for them to reach their full potential in dance, music, theater, and visual arts.

Paige has dedicated substantially to cultivating a new generation of artists in a variety of artistic styles. She works to inspire young artists to fully pursue their dreams no matter the obstacles. Her advice for the next generation of black dancers: “Never give up. I know this is said often, but it is really true. If you are passionate about dance, stay focused and continue to do the work. There will be difficulties along the way and you will face rejection. That is part of the business/process. Remain humble and curious. Remember there is not one way to success. Enjoy your journey and all the beautiful things it will teach you. Once I started to let go, so many doors opened for me.”
